Screen Prints

These screen prints are a selection taken from a thirty year exploration of the medium. The early works, made using vibrancy of oil based enamels were made as an undergraduate. They are influenced by my interest in German  Dada/Expressionist art of the Weimar period. To paraphrase the great German artist Georg Grosz  The great revolutionary art of today is expressed by the graffiti we find in public toilets. By the end of the 20th century those beautiful and deadly enamels had been phased out and acrylic silkscreen enamels took over the space.
